Janet Connor

Managing Director

Janet Connor has extensive experience in sales, marketing and general management from both the financial services and retail sectors. She joined Abbey in 1990 and held a number of Director level positions during her career. Prior to her role as Director in charge of the Abbey Wrap Platform, Janet held the post of Bank Marketing Director reporting to the Managing Director of the retail bank. She has an in-depth understanding of business from consumer sales and marketing to customer relationship management, cross selling and brand development. Janet joined RIAS in early 2006 as Managing Director, and is focused on leading the company through the next stage in its development.

Janet is passionate about offering each customer an individual differentiated service that ensures that the customer is at the heart of everything RIAS does.

Darren Spriggs

Operations Director

Darren Spriggs has spent the majority of his career working with large scale sales and service operations primarily in the Financial Services sector but also in the Technology sector in the UK, Europe and Africa. Starting as a Telesales Advisor, over 20 years ago, Darren progressed through the ranks in the call centre developing his understanding of telephone based sales and service operations.

In 1998 Darren moved to South Africa and worked with Old Mutual in developing their group call centre capability, delivering sales and service support to customers, intermediaries and brokers. He returned to the UK in 2003 to join the Equity Group where he fulfilled a number of roles including Head of Outsourcing, Head of Operations and lastly Chief Operating Officer of the group’s Direct Business. Darren joined RIAS in early 2009 as Operations Director with responsibility for the sales and service functions.

Darren's enthusiasm to get our service offerings right first time means it is integral for him to be as close to the customer as possible, through spending time with advisors to ensure we deliver to the exact requirements of our customers.

Nick Lemans

Finance Director

Nick has wide-ranging experience as a commercially focused Finance professional. He qualified as an Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1993 and went on to join Barclays Bank in 1995.

Nick held a number of senior management positions within the bank, running Group and Divisional Finance teams, setting up Finance Shared Services and latterly moved into sales as an Area Director in the South West running parts of the branch network. He moved to RIAS in 2006 as Finance Director and is now responsible for the Finance team, Operational Accounting, Pricing Capability and the Commercial Product Development.

Nick's personal approach and responsibility for our products ensures RIAS provides products that are flexible to be tailored to different customer needs.
