Car insurance - what's covered
- Protected no-claims discount (subject to status) If you’re involved in an accident that’s your fault, you will still be able to retain your no-claims discount
- 24-hour claims service Our claims lines are open all day every day, 365 days of the year. Our friendly operators will be there to assist and advise you and help you process your claim speedily. Once you’ve signed up for cover, you’ll receive the numbers you need in the event of theft or accident
- Windscreen cover If your windscreen is broken, you can arrange a replacement using our specialist repairers (provided you’ve taken out comprehensive car insurance cover)
- Medical Expenses If you, or any of your passengers, are injured in an accident involving the car, we will pay towards Medical Expenses for each person (limits apply)
- Personal belongings (subject to status) We cover personal effects in the car up to £100 (or the amount specified in your policy book) if lost or damaged by accident, fire or theft
- Free courtesy car With comprehensive cover, while your car is being repaired by the approved repairer, a courtesy car will be supplied for your convenience
- Fast repair service We lose no time in getting your car repaired by an approved garage closest to your home address. Payment is normally made direct to the approved garage by us
- Personal Accident Cover If you or one of your passengers are injured or killed in an accident where you are at fault, a lump sum will be paid for specific injuries or death (age limitations apply)
Our three levels of cover are:
Third Party Only: This provides the driver with cover for damage caused by their vehicle to another person or their property.
Third Party, Fire & Theft: This provides the driver with cover for damage caused by their vehicle to another person or their property as well as cover for fire, theft or attempted theft of the vehicle.
Comprehensive: This provides cover for third party, fire, theft and accidental damage to the insured vehicle. This enables the policyholder to claim for almost any damage to the vehicle.

| Foreign Use Extension |
You can use your car abroad, with the same level of cover and support as you have at home. |
If you have an accident while driving abroad your claim will be dealt with the same as if it had happened in the UK. |
| Liability for Third Parties |
Cover against legal liability for death or injury to any person and damage to property. |
If you bump into the car in front of you in a queue of traffic, you will be covered for claims for the damage to that vehicle. |
