Car blimey, it really pays to work at RIAS!
As staff rewards go, this one takes a lot of beating: one lucky RIAS employee has driven away in a brand new car, making her the company’s biggest prize winner to date!
Fran Cooper, who works in the call centre at Bournemouth based over 50s insurance company, won her brand new bright red Citroen C1 car and promptly burst into tears of joy. “I can’t believe it’s me who’s won!” said Fran, who had to be given a chair and a nice cup of tea to calm her nerves on being told she’d been awarded the fabulous prize. “I’ve never won anything in my life before, not so much as a box of chocolates! I feel so lucky. Working at RIAS has always been fun, but winning this lovely little car is the prize of a lifetime, and just takes the biscuit!”
In fact, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Fran, winner of the ‘Perfect Call’ competition, picked up the keys to her shiny new set of wheels in front of a large crowd of colleagues in a room decked out with balloons and bunting for the occasion. The car was taxed and fully insured - ready for Fran to drive home at the end of her day.
RIAS Managing Director Janet Connor commented: “Our latest incentive scheme has been running for a couple of months across our Bournemouth and Belfast offices, and was designed to reward the advisor who conducted what was judged a ‘perfect call’ with one of our customers. All our sales staff had the opportunity to win the car as well as a host of smaller prizes such as the latest gadgets, nights out and vouchers. Fran stood out because she demonstrated the RIAS values with such great warmth and enthusiasm, as well as a real commitment to giving the customer the best possible quote experience. A deserving winner indeed!”
Fran has worked at the call centre for 3 years and was supported throughout the event by all the members of her call centre team. The sales incentive is set to run for another month, with a second Citroen C1 being given away to another lucky employee just in time for Christmas!
