Double nomination for RIAS in prestigious industry awards

  • Insurance Times Awards recognises RIAS for its innovative customer care excellence and employee development

Over 50s insurance provider RIAS is celebrating after being shortlisted in the ‘Customer Services Initiative of the Year’ category at the 2009 Insurance Times Awards. In addition RIAS has also been shortlisted as part of a joint entry with parent company Fortis UK in the ‘Training Programme of the Year’ category.

The specialist insurer has already been recognised for its customer-centric culture and service innovation this year in the British Insurance Awards, UK Broker Awards and the CCF European Call Centre Awards. 

The innovative ‘Voice of the Customer’ online tool encourages employees to feedback customers’ comments to help further enhance the RIAS customer experience. All 1,100 RIAS employees, based in two UK offices in Bournemouth and Belfast, are developed and rewarded on their commitment to customer service. 

Now in their 12th year, the annual Insurance Times Awards showcase leaders in the insurance industry that are customer driven and dedicated to both the industry and its reputation.  Being recognised by the Awards has become the benchmark by which the industry judges itself.
