FREE ‘Fabulous’ day out for the over 50s, from RIAS
What do TV chef Mary Berry, gardening expert Anne Swithinbank and RIAS, specialist insurer for the over 50s, all have in common? They’ll all be taking part in this Spring’s biggest and best show for the over 50s, that’s what. It’s the Fabulous at 50 Show, now in its 8th year, and it runs over the weekend of 24th and 25th May in Harrogate. RIAS is delighted to be giving away free tickets to the show which is being put on at the Great Yorkshire Showground. Callers to the dedicated freephone number will be able to claim up to 4 tickets, each with a face value of £5, to gain free entry for themselves and their friends.

RIAS is exhibiting at the show and visitors will be welcomed onto the stand (Number 14/15) where dedicated members of the RIAS Events Team will be ready to answer any insurance questions. There will also be information available to take away about the great range of quality, value-for-money RIAS insurance products, all tailored for the over 50s.
There’s an action packed itinerary on both days of the show with interactive exhibitions, seminars and celebrity guests to keep visitors entertained. The celebrated TV chef Mary Berry, author of over 45 family cook books and famous for her AGA cooking know-how, will be cooking up some sweet and savoury recipes, and inviting visitors to taste her wares, in the ‘Fab Cook Zone’. John Grey and Barbara Cox from the nationally renowned company Nutrichefwill be cooking easy, nutritional and healthy food in front of an audience. And TV presenter, gardening writer and frequent BBC Radio 4s Gardeners’ Question Time panelist, Anne Swithinbank, will be on hand in the ‘Ask the Experts’ panel to dispense some timely gardening advice for Spring.
The lifestyle show is, at heart, a really fun day out for the over 50s. Visitors will get to meet a great range of exhibitors showcasing many products and services, including travel, health, hobbies, fashion, finance and food, all of specific interest and relevance to this age group.
