Bournemouth-based over 50s insurance provider RIAS is holding a free fashion show, in association with Marks & Spencer, Miss Selfridge and Next, on Saturday 14 August at Castlepoint Shopping Centre to raise funds for its employee charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support.
The live catwalk event, which will feature RIAS employees modelling the Autumn and Winter collections from the three stores, will feature seven fashion shows, each lasting 20 minutes, every hour between 10am and 4pm.
Janet Connor, Managing Director at RIAS said: “After the fantastic success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be hosting the free RIAS Fashion Show again at Castlepoint Shopping Centre. 20 employees have volunteered their spare time to contribute towards the day, from taking to the catwalk and modelling the latest collections, to helping out behind the scenes. The Fashion Show is the latest event in our fundraising calendar, and all donations made throughout the day will help us towards reaching our annual fundraising target of £25,000 for our worthy charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, which is close to the hearts of our employees and our customers.”
Since January over 100 RIAS employees have completed daring challenges and fundraising to help make a difference to the lives of those diagnosed with cancer, from taking part in the Dorset Bike Ride to abseiling down the Water Tower in Poole.
