Top 5 Travel Insurance Claims

Spain has been revealed as the country in which British tourists are most likely to make a claim on their travel insurance, according to a Bupa survey. The healthcare group has released statistics showing the countries where Brits are most likely to claim on their travel insurance for health issues.

Spain tops the chart with almost 1 in 5 claims resulting from trips to the European destination. Turkey came second with more than 1 in 10 claims being made there, closely followed by the US and Greece.  Thailand and Egypt are near the bottom of the top ten with just under 3 percent of the travel claims in each country. The majority of people claiming in Spain did so for the condition Swimmer’s Ear.
