Ageas Wins General Insurer Awards

Our parent company wins a top accolade at this year's British Insurance Awards! Great news! Ageas UK, our parent company, has won the 'General Insurer of the Year' category at the 2011 British Insurance Awards.

The accolade, which we are very proud of, was awarded to Ageas UK for its record year for premium income, exceptional customer service, significant new business wins and creation of new jobs across the UK - it also recognises RIAS' contribution to the business too. Ageas UK's CEO, Barry Smith, collected the award in July in front of 2,000 people from across the industry at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The award is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the commitment and hard work of all the employees throughout the group, as well as support from partners and customers.
