Ageas Wins Gold Standard Award

Ageas UK, parent company to Bournemouth based over 50s insurance provider RIAS, currently holds the Incisive Media ‘Gold Standard Award for Insurance’ for the third consecutive year, recognising its strong business structure and customer-oriented practices. Ageas remains the first and only company to have won the Gold Standard in the general insurance category.

Now in their eighth year, the Gold Standard Awards are one of the toughest awards to achieve in the financial services industry. The awards take into account financial strength and assess areas such as trust, fair value and service. They identify companies that go above and beyond standard business practices to offer customers the best possible experience.

The judging panel recognised that the company displayed a clear understanding of customer needs when it comes to insurance and were particularly impressed with how all aspects of the business were structured to deliver the best possible customer service standards. They said that Ageas was a company that took customer trust seriously.

This award, which also recognises RIAS’ contribution to the business, adds to the triumph of success that RIAS had in 2010, having been named ‘Personal Lines Broker of the Year’ at the 2010 British Insurance Awards and ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ at the 2010 UK Broker Awards.
