If your home, car office or security safe keys are lost, stolen or break in the lock, our key protection gives you up to £1,500 of cover, including VAT. It also covers you if your alarm needs reprogramming and for lock and key replacements. Plus, if you're unable to use your car, due to loss or theft of the keys, alternative transport is available, though our claims line will need to agree this first.

What’s not covered
- Any claim for damage to locks by wear and tear, mechanical or electrical breakdown, cleaning, repairing, restoring or anything which happens gradually
- Any claim for damage to locks alone where there is no associated damage to the keys
- We will only provide one replacement key and once duplicate key for each key covered under a valid claim
